Works update for the week ahead

Foreshore

  • Car parking has been closed on the ocean side of Cairns Street

  • Conduits being laid for electrical lighting and lawn watering systems

  • Beach access is via the lawn area closest to the Surf Club

  • Subgrade being prepared for the new pavement to raise Cairns street at the Lord Street end

Tregea Street

  • Concreting of property crossovers

  • Drainage works behind kerb

  • Reinstatement of naturestrip

Rocket Shed

  • Refurbishment of the Rocket Shed landing (in consultation with Parks Victoria) will continue

Lord Street South

  • Trenching for new services and installation of conduits

  • Installation of tree root protection barrier

  • Installation of kerb and channel as well as new pavement

  • Setting out for new concrete footpath under the Norfolk Pines

Expression of Interest - Norfolk Pine Wood

Expressions of Interest are open until Sunday 12 May from local community members and groups to utilise the timber from the Norfolk Pine Tree felled last year.
